Tecnon Smart Display Technology Shenzhen Co., Ltd. To make better use of the blank space in the lobby wall, the client decided to install an indoor COB LED display that could deliver clear visuals and reliable performance.
Client Background:
China Construction Science and Industry Building, located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, is invested in, built, and operated by China Construction Science and Industry Corporation Ltd. The building is located in the core area of the Houhai Headquarters Economic Zone in Nanshan District.
The project covers a construction area of 2,725 square meters, with a total building area of 55,600 square meters and a building height of 166.75 meters. It is a super 5A Grade A office building that integrates office, commercial, and conference functions.
The building uses a full steel structure and extensively applies hot-rolled components and bolted connections during installation. It is also a demonstration project for prefabricated buildings in Guangdong Province.
Solution:
Since the screen is installed in the building lobby, an indoor LED display was the best choice. The project uses a fine-pitch COB display with a P1.5 pixel pitch to ensure clear visuals at close viewing distances. Compared with SMD technology, the indoor COB LED display offers stronger protection. The screen surface is covered with a smooth layer of epoxy resin that seals all the LED chips inside. This design protects the chips from external impact and improves durability.
Cleaning is also very simple. Dust on the surface can be easily wiped away.
This screen size is 4.8 × 6.88 meters (W4.8 × H6.88 m) and it is mounted directly on the lobby wall, filling the previously unused space. The screen now serves as an ideal platform for information display or advertising.
The front-maintenance design also makes servicing convenient. The LED modules can be easily removed with a magnetic tool for inspection and maintenance.
Results:
After installation, the client reported that The indoor COB LED display now fills the lobby wall perfectly and provides an eye-catching platform for announcements and advertisin. Displaying office leasing information and announcements has become much more eye-catching, and the system is easy to operate.
The client also plans to cooperate with advertisers in the future to make full use of the display. Although the initial investment was significant, the long-term value of the screen is clear.
