Corner LED Display Installed in Fjällräven Retail Store in Taiyuan

This project focuses on the design and installation of an indoor corner LED display. Even corner spaces can be fully utilized. Areas that might otherwise be overlooked can become visual focal points, attracting customers and showcasing the brand image.

Client Background

Fjällräven, a high-end outdoor lifestyle brand from Sweden, is a Royal Warrant holder. Since its founding, the brand has built a global sales network. This time, we visited Fjällräven’s “Urban Outdoor Station” in Taiyuan, a physical store located in Wangfujing Department Store in Xiaodian District.

This store is not only a place to sell products but also a space to showcase Scandinavian aesthetics and a sustainable outdoor lifestyle to local outdoor enthusiasts. Located in one of Taiyuan’s most vibrant high-end shopping malls, Fjällräven wanted to share its environmental story in a more modern and dynamic way.

Solution

The screen was planned to be installed at the right-angle corner of the wall to the right of the store entrance. We adopted a double-sided splicing corner design, using two wall-mounted LED screens to form an L-shape. This design covers the corner of the wall and creates a visual extension.

The corner installation also makes better use of the available space. It allows the displayed content to be seen from different angles, improving communication efficiency. The screen is wall-mounted and installed flush with the wall, which enhances the overall visual appearance.

From outside the store, the display faces the main aisle. From inside the store, it sits next to the product display area and becomes the first visual focus for customers entering the shop. The screen plays outdoor-themed brand videos, such as mountain climbing scenes and snow-covered landscapes. These visuals strengthen the brand image while attracting customers and promoting the brand.

The corner LED display is connected with a 90° corner frame instead of flexible screens. This solution is both economical and visually appealing. Given the close-up viewing environment of a store, the screen’s pixel pitch is 2.5, ensuring a sharp, grain-free image.

At the corners, we used 45° chamfered led modules to reduce visible black borders and gaps, creating a more continuous image across the corner. The wall screen also uses a front-maintenance design. Magnetic LED modules allow quick and easy replacement, minimizing disruption to store operations.

Result

After installation, the corner LED display blends well with the overall store environment. There is almost no image misalignment or brightness drop at the corner, and the display runs smoothly, providing a great viewing experience.

Now, Fjällräven can share its environmental story with customers in a more modern and engaging way.
