From Shenzhen to the World: The TECNON Smart Display Story
Every great product has an origin story. TECNON Smart Display began long before our first LED screen ever lit up a city skyline.
The Roots: A Legacy of Manufacturing (2002–2017)
In 2002, our parent company, Tecnon Electronics, was founded in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, building its reputation as a trusted manufacturer for global brand-chain commercial lighting. That early experience — precision engineering, large-scale production, and an obsession with quality — became the DNA that TECNON Smart Display carries to this day.
In May 2017, Tecnon Electronics went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 300650). That same year, in October, TECNON Smart Display Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was officially established in Shenzhen — China’s “Silicon Valley of hardware” — with a clear mission: to become a leading provider of smart-city LED display terminals and digital signage.

Building the Brand (2018–2021)
From day one, we chose to specialize rather than generalize. While others chased every possible display application, we focused on urban niche scenarios — LED pole screens, smart streetlights, outdoor LED advertising machines, and digital signage for the cities of tomorrow.
- 2018–2019 marked rapid growth: expanded product lines, a factory relocation to bigger facilities, and our first breakthrough projects across transportation, commercial, and municipal sectors.
- 2020 was the year we fully committed to the smart-city opportunity, deepening our role in 5G infrastructure and smart-city terminal ecosystems.
- 2021 tested the world — and we kept building. Our screens were deployed at major national and international events, including the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Scaling Up (2022–2025)
- 2022 saw the launch of our Zhangzhou production base — a major manufacturing milestone that dramatically expanded our capacity. In the same year, our LED pole screens appeared on the global stage at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Hangzhou Asian Games, and the Chengdu World University Games.
- 2023–2024 brought strategic diversification: our wholly-owned subsidiary, Fujian Qiansiduo Visual Technology, was established to serve the indoor LED display market — retail, showrooms, and commercial spaces — while our outdoor business continued to thrive.
- 2025 was a defining year: we moved into a brand-new, fully automated production base, integrating automated lines, intelligent warehousing, and digital management platforms. When China hosted its 15th National Games, more than 200 of our smart LED pole screens served the venues and surrounding roads.

Where We Are Today
Today, TECNON Smart Display operates state-of-the-art facilities in Shenzhen and Zhangzhou with a monthly capacity of 20,000 square meters, backed by a 2,000 m² in-house testing laboratory and more than 200 patents. Our engineering is recognized through national “High-Tech Enterprise” and “Specialized & Sophisticated SME” certifications.
Our screens now light up some of the most iconic spaces in China and beyond — from the naked-eye 3D landmark screens of Xi’an’s Great Tang All Day Mall, to airport terminals in Wuhan and Changchun, to over 1,000 m² of stage LED screens at Hengdian World Studios. And we’re proud to count world-class brands among our retail partners: NIKE, adidas, FILA, CELINE, Valentino, Sephora, Arc’teryx, Salomon, HOKA, UGG, Descente, Ecco, and more.
Our products have reached customers across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, South America, and Africa — and we collaborate with industry leaders such as Huawei, ZTE, and China Tower to keep pushing the boundaries of what urban displays can do.
What Drives Us
From a lighting factory in Fujian to a global LED display brand, one thing has never changed: we believe a screen is more than hardware. It’s how a city communicates, how a brand tells its story, and how millions of people experience public space every single day.
The next chapter is being written now — and we’d love for you to be part of it.
